Great lunch spot with a nice ambiance! I ordered a BLT and strawberry lemonade. The sandwich was delicious and also came with a side of savory potato chips.
I visited on a Sunday early afternoon and there were not a lot of people. I received fast and great service from the wonderful staff. The food was DELICIOUS and I ate and drank absolutely everything. 10/10 recommend!
The espresso was delicious. Velvety and smooth with a nice balance of flavors. The pain aux chocolat was buttery, fluffy and had a nice pull. My only complaint would be the lack of chocolate throughout the croissant. The bathrooms smelled pretty bad and looked neglected. Space is bright, sunny, and cozy.
Having early morning breakfast listening to smooth sax by the street is a bliss. I ordered the Spinach and Gruyere omelette. It was fluffy and came with a good side of potatoes, fruit and toast. $15
During my week-long stay in San Francisco, Brioche, a delightful bakery just a block from my hotel, quickly became a favourite. The simple yet charming atmosphere, coupled with friendly service, particularly from Burcu, made every visit a pleasure. The food was simply delicious, and I indulged in the eggs Benedict twice, the eggs Florentine, the croque madame, and my personal favourite, the French brioche with all its fruits, which I savoured twice more. I will highly recommend Brioche to my friends, and I eagerly anticipate returning on my next visit.
Went there twice. First time I tried the breakfast croissant which was a bit too greasy and the potatoes could have been a lot crispier/cooked better (they had no browning on them and were dripping with oil). Second time tried the breakfast burrito which was amazing - the eggs were moist and deliciously cooked and the avocados and tomatoes adding a nice touch - I highly recommend the burrito over the croissant!
Cafe Brioche was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, calm atmosphere, and everything tasted fresh. The white mocha was especially good - creamy and balanced without being overly sweet. A solid place to sit back and enjoy a good coffee.
